What I Can Help With

I help adults and older adolescents (16+) trapped in cycles of fear, overthinking, emotional overwhelm, self-criticism, avoidance, loneliness, or disconnection from the life they want to live. Therapy focuses on helping people build greater psychological flexibility, and the ability to move toward meaning and values.

Therapy is often less about reducing negative emotions and more about developing the stillness to hold them so they no longer control us.

You do not need to know the therapy acronyms to benefit from treatment, but my work draws from ERP, CBT, DBT, EMDR, and Compassion-Focused Therapy. While these approaches differ, they largely share a common goal: helping people become more willing to experience emotions directly instead of organizing life around avoidance, fear, suppression, or escape.
